What, in New England, is really hot? OK, besides a bread bowl filled with steaming clam chowder? New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady, of course!
Brady and his real-life pitbull, Lua, took part in UGG Australia’s first ad campaign aimed at men: “The Man Under the Helmet”. It features the 36-year-old and his dog in print and a commercial filmed in an L.A. area park. A scrubbed-up, stadium image of Brady also graces the retailer’s website.
Even more recently, Brady led the New England Patriots to beat the Atlanta Falcons 30-23 and continue their 2013-2014 undefeated streak (4-0). Now that’s something to howl about! We’re sure he and the entire team will do all they can to sustain that perfect record all season.
“Four wins in four games in the NFL, however accomplished, is off the charts,” says Vinnie Iyer for Sporting News. “Just look at the fact that only Denver, Kansas City, Seattle and (the winner of the September 30) Miami-New Orleans game will be in the Patriots’ elite company.”
Tom Brady’s personal stats, as recorded at NFL.com, are as follows …
Team: New England Patriots
Position: Quarterback, #12
Height: 6 foot, 4 inches
Weight: 225 pounds
Born: Aug. 3, 1977
Season: His 14th (as of this article 2013)
The QB is originally from San Mateo, in the San Francisco Bay area of Northern California. Besides being a dedicated NFL player, Brady is a husband and father. He and his Victoria’s Secret model wife Gisele Bundchen have two kids together and Tom has a son from a prior relationship.
When the dynamic duo had their six bedroom home built in Southern California, Architectural Digest says, they made sure it would help them conserve water and other natural resources. The goal? To “use as many recycled components as possible” and minimize their impact on the land.
So, not only is Tom Brady a great QB and a dog lover: He’s eco-friendly, too. Ho-o-o-o-w-l!
