It’s SUPER BOWL time! That’s NFL Super Bowl time!
Tonight, the Denver Broncos will play the Seattle Sea Hawks in the NFL Super Bowl . . . and, so far, it’s not looking good for the boys from Denver. Ohgrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Yeah, it’s Broncos vs. Sea Hawks — no DOG names mind you, and that really should change BARKBARK!!!! ‘cause BIG money always fuels this event.
In particular, Madison Avenue and Rodeo Drive ad agencies and TV ad geniuses try to out-do what they did last year . . . and the year before . . . and the year before that . . . and maybe even NEXT year (ARFgigglegigglestaywithmehere) with memorable TV commercials.
AND — there are dogs in this year’s best commercials!
What do you think of when you think “animal” and Budweiser beer?
Ticktock, ticktock! Time’s up!
You guessed it! Those beautiful, huge, gentle giants; the Clydesdale horses! Aren’t they just too awesome with their kindness and style and those cute little (big) furry ankles?
The most adorable, awwwwww-ist, there’s-no-place-like-home, tug-at-your-heartstrings commercial shows a brand new, blond, baby Golden Retriever making friends, nose-to-nose, with one, big Clydesdale at home in his barn.
It’s totally love and friendship at first sight and first sniff that has our little golden guy running in circles of joy!
When the little pup is taken away by his human owners, in a car, on real wheels, rolling away from the farm, his horse friend stands in the middle of the field looking for him.
The pup, of course, is sad beyond words, howls, yips and sighs.
The Clyde enlists the help of his barn friends to follow the car. In a very dramatic moment (be still my little canine heart), they surround the car until Puppy is set free and united with his giant pal.
And all is well in horse and dog dogdom.
