Yup. You’re right. R is also for Reggie!
But, no dog is an island; no dog stands alone . . . (do I hear violins?)
OH BARK, for Pete’s sake! That was supposed to be funny!
I’m going to my furry friends reunion! We have so much to share!
Ever since we became friends, we have been meeting every year, without fail.
We all met at Obedience School when we were little pups. Oh, what fun that was! Well . . . maybe not all the time!
I mean, we were there for a reason: our humans wanted us to know how to act in almost all situations. Some of us were already acting up (arfgigglearf!), which is why we were there to begin with!
(Funny that there isn’t the same kind of school for humans . . . hmmmm . . . wigglewoof? . . . well, for some of them, to be fair.)
Compared to Human Obedience School (which is called therapy, I think), our school teaches you to be polite; to be friendly; to listen to our humans (that’s the obedience part); to learn how to sit, stay, roll over, eat properly and not get too excited when little humans pull our ears and slobber all over us . . . and they do.
I’m going to tell you about my reunion buddies. We’re all different, except for the fact that we stayed friends after we survived and graduated from the Canine College of Manners — which has a very good reputation.
Let me introduce them to you. I know you’ll learn to love them as much as I do. ( . . . and here’s a surprise: they are all lady dogs! How lucky can one guy get? CHUCKLESMILE.)
